How did we get our start?

It’s almost embarrassing. Ann Thariani had terrible feet. While living in Pakistan with her husband, she found a remarkable Foot Scrubber that tamed even her wild feet. In 1990, they brought them to the US, adding other wonderful body care products.

Why do we love what we do?

Why terra-cotta?

In many parts of the world, terra-cotta is used in all sorts of remarkable ways. Our unique Foot Scrubber is hand formed and fired in a kiln, so it lasts for years.

Our terra-cotta Foot Scrubbers are 100% plastic-free and come in an easily recyclable cardboard box.

It matters because tiny particles called microplastics wreak havoc on our water, soil and wildlife. Plastic pumice bars break down with use, constantly releasing microplastics. Our Foot Scrubbers don’t – so you get a great scrub and a cleaner environment.
